Track Power
o Eight lane wooden track o Colour coded lanes/driver station

Event Basics and Participant Expectations
• All participants are expected to act in the upmost sporting & respectful manner, before, during and after the event, whether inside or outside of Slot Shop
• Anti-sportsmanship behaviour is discouraged and will be delt with by the Meeting Director.
• Smoking, vaping are strictly forbidden – no exceptions
• All participants are expected to wear appropriate attire (derogatory/offending clothing is not allowed)
• Bad behaviour (verbal/violent) will not be tolerated – person(s) will be asked to leave immediately
Scrutineering
• All cars will be scrutineered without exception by the Scrutineer before any qualifying/racing takes place
• All cars must be presented to Scrutineer prior to start of qualifying, failure to do so will result in a 20 lap penalty
• Car must be presented with the body removed for scrutineering.
• Once car passes scrutineering, all cars will remain in Parc Fermé and cannot be taken until their qualifying run. Once qualifying is completed, teams will be able to take cars back to their pits for any final adjustments.
• Racers can only present one car for scrutineering
• Car swapping is not allowed once nominated car has passed scrutineering
• During racing conditions, if teams need to make repairs they can take back to their pits to make repairs, change motors or tyres.
• At the completion of the race the top 5 teams will be asked to present their car for scrutineering to make sure weight, motor and tyres chassis clearance is met.
Qualifying and Race
• Qualifying will be 1 minutes per team, Any driver from your team may complete qualifying. You may qualify on any colour lane during your one minute.
• At the completion of Qualifying 1st through to 8th will select the lane colour they would like to start on.
• The Race will be run over 8 x 45 minute heats/brackets each team will compete on each lane during this time.
• There will be mandated Driver swaps during each heat.
• The first driver Swap allocation will be between 14 minutes and 16 minutes, the 2nd driver swap will be between 29 minutes and 31 minutes in the heat.
• There will be a specified area where you can stop the car and perform the driver swap or to pick up the car during the heats (The short chute coming on to the main straight that will be marked).
• During Driver Swaps Marshalls are NOT Allowed to leave their Marshalling area or this will incur a penalty.
• If you are only a 2 driver team. The driver must go to the marshalling station first and their co driver can then head to the drivers station to begin their stint. If a Marshall leaves their station a penalty will be issued at the completion of the race (See Marshalling).
• Lane change will be 3 minutes.
• Outlaw slot cars will provide lane stickers if you do not have your own.
• Teams are allowed to take their cars to their work areas to make repairs to their cars during the race at any stage
Marshalling
• Each Team will require 1 driver to marshal during each heat, Marshals will need to marshal on the colour their team is driving on during that heat.
• Marshalling areas are colour-coded
• When marshalling, you are required to react swiftly to clear the track and place the cars back on the track efficiently with the offending car (the cause of the accident) being placed on last
• Loose clothing must be securely restrained as it can dislodge a moving car and create 'more havoc', marshals failing to adhere to this will be penalised at the conclusion of their race
• All nominated marshals must be at their allocated position (Colour) before the start of each heat, failure to adhere will result in a 50 lap penalty issued at the conclusion of the race.
• The Marshals cannot repair any car(s) with exception of realigning the guide/braid or refitting a dislodged tyre and only on the participants call if and when the car does not run
• Under no circumstances can a Marshals clean tyres during heats
• Nominated marshals cannot leave their Marshalling area for any reason, if you must leave your station, you must have a replacement in your marshalling position before you leave. Marshal swapping is allowed during the Enduro as long as the above is met.
• Teams whose marshalling station is empty will receive a 50 lap penalty (to be deducted at the completion of the race)
Repairs and pit work
• Any component may be replaced Except for the Chassis and Body, if a body or chassis is damaged beyond repair, your team will have to retire from the race.
• Any person from your team will be allowed to work on their cars at any stage during the race if they still have a marshal from your team at their marshalling station.
• Teams are able to work on their cars at the own workstations during the race
Penalties
Race penalties will be issued by the Meeting Director, as governed by these rules
• Bad behaviour – Disqualified and asked to leave premises
• Car Swapping - Disqualification
• Marshal position failure - 50 laps per offence
• Marshal cleaning tyres - 5 laps per offence
• Motor and or tyre tampering - Disqualification
• Participant/team failing scrutineering after the race - Disqualification
• Chassis Screws falling out onto the track – 10 Lap penalty
• The use of any chemicals on tyres before or during the race – Disqualification
