The AFX 1970 Firebird TransAm in white is a striking replica of one of America’s most iconic muscle cars and the first TransAm ever to be issued by Pontiac. With a clean white painted body, authentic 5-spoke Rallye II wheels, and vibrant blue racing stripes, the AFX car faithfully captures the bold, aggressive style of the TransAm.
The 1970 model year was the second generation of the Firebird, boasting a radical new body. Tooling and engineering problems delayed the second gens release and earned it the moniker the ‘70 1/2. It offered a range of subtypes, including the Espirit and the Formula, and an array of engines from a 250 cid six-cylinder to the powerful 400 cid V8 with Ram Air intake.
